Caught Up

I got a call from one of the readers of this blog wondering why I have spent up to four days without posting to this blog.

I had not even noticed this as I had really been caught up in the midst of all the chaos and troubles this life. It has been a rather hectic past week and a lot has gone on here.

However I am very sorry for not getting the time to post it here. even this post is going to be short because Time is not on my side.

In two days time,I will post some very wonderful stories some of which are saddening. Stay tuned till then.

This link building technology is designed to be "set it and forget it." There are only 3 steps to getting your site started on the path to ranking in Google:

Add your domain name into your account with your chosen keywords.
Upload a PHP file to your site.

2- Geographic Diversity
If all of your links come from web sites that are hosted in the same place, on the same IP address, or even on different Class C IP addresses that are too geographically close to each other, Google will discount or ignore the links.

This network perfectly mimics a natural network of links, because that's exactly what it is! There are thousands of sites owned by many hundreds of web masters. The sites that your site will perform 3-way link exchanges with are located all over the globe, on a very diverse variety of IP and Class C addresses.

3- A Steady Growth in Links
If hundreds of links suddenly appear in Google that are all aimed at your site, Google will not count the value of those links for many months. This process of withholding link value is known as the "Google Sandbox". When this happens, you have to wait anywhere from 3 months to a year to see the value of your incoming links applied in Google's ranking of your site.

My system spreads links slowly, at the rate of 0 to 8 links per day. That means that there will be some days where no new links are added, and some days where as many as 8 are added -- which is how natural linking occurs. Once your site reaches 250 inbound links, the process stops. This usually takes about 60 days.

The Addthis.com button and How it can Help blog owners get more traffic

I have spent sometime publishing blogs. I usually use blogger.com and I only have one wordpress blog that I host on my own servers.

Being a blog owner, I am always on the lookout for ways tp drive traffic to my blog and my websites. Basically I preffer the free traffic.

I have read many manuals that point to the fact that web 2.0 is a new trend that is here to stay. I am not an expert on web 2.0 but I know it involves social bookmarking sites where individuals share the sites that they find interesting, with their friends.

With an account from AddThis.com, you can easily track how many times visitors have clicked on your buttons, where they were generated from, and whether or not people have actually added your site to their bookmark favorites.

This feature alone is very important as it lets you know the fruits of your effort.

Some times I get to read statements that are rediculuos and I wonder what the people making those statements are up to. Do they think that people are still as they were ten years ago in terms of thinking. I am of the view that now days people will not just accept statements without making some deep research on them.

My Easter and the Games People Play.

I am not usually a person who loves partying and going out. I would prefer being at home watching movies or on my computer surfing and writing articles like this.

The reason I hate this is because of the childish games played. It is usually my cue to throw up a good excuse and multiply my self by zero (Disappear).

This Easter though, I was cornered. I was invited to a friend’s family for Easter.

For reasons I will not get into detail here, this family found it fit to have me be around for Easter. They had invited more more people to the party given the fact that they are a well to do family. Plus the rule that we all had to stay up late until the host decided it was time for us to leave.

We eat and drunk a lot. After that, then we had 30 minutes of rest. Then enter the games. For the first one, we had to sit in a circle, drink in hand and go round counting one to nine without any hesitation. Easy enough? Not quite. If one mentioned two numbers in succession, for example “four-five” instead of just “four”, the next person would have to skip one number and mention “seven”. If on the other hand some one mentioned the previous number instead of following number, the next person would also count backwards, but skip the number immediately before the current one. So if some one counted “8” and counted “7” you would skip “6” and count “5”. If you got it wrong or hesitated, you would have to empty your glass in one go and immediately refill it.


I hated it and I sensed that the others had too. No wonder, by the time we got to the next game, the room had turned upside down.

The next game was one that I had read about in some newspaper. For this game, we had to pick a piece of paper each at random and do what ever it stated. I was so unlucky with this one. Can you imagine what was said on it? I was instructed to kiss a fellow man. I obeyed and the guy I picked on vowed never to go to parties on youths again.

One guys paper instructed him to describe what he would want his wife or girlfriend to be if she were a machine. All of us men envied this guy because he did real justice to all the ladies who had laughed at my action. The guy said that if his wife was to be a machine, he would prefer it to be a Roomba.

Most of us did not know what a roomba is.
He explained that a roomba is the extremely intelligent little machine that cleans your floor. You set the time it should do the cleaning, put it away in a corner or under the bed, and forget about it. At the set time, it would get out and clean the flour, the bed, the step and all the dirty work that needs to be done. At this, all the women just got angry for comparing them to such a machine and left the room.
Well the guy said there were more things the roomba can do but the ladies never waited for it.

I Need Peace - The Light That Never Goes Out

Today I have only sold one copy of my book. One of the stalls on which I was displaying my books got stolen from the warden's office at the University.

As I sat waiting for customers, My miond wondered into the mistery. AMID THE multitude of conflicting opinions and theories, and caught in the strugle of existance, where shall the confused truth-seeker turn to find the path that leads to unending peace. To what refuge shall he fly from the uncertainities and sorrows of change?

I know that you may have your answers. But I am still wondering:

Shall he find peace in pleasure? Pleasure has its PLACE AND IN ITS PLACE IT IS GOOD. bUT AS AN END, AS A REFUGE, IT AFFORDS NO SHELTER. He who seeks it as such does but increase the anguish of life: for what is more fleeting than pleasure, and what is more empty than the heart that seeks satisfaction in so ephemeral a thing. I will conclude that there is no unending peace and refuge in pleasure.

So shall he find peace in wealth and worldly success. I would like to be successful and I bet you do. It is true that wealth and worldly success have their place, but they are fickle and uncertain possessions, and he who seeks them for them selves alone will be burdened with many anxieties and cares. When the storm of adversity sweeps over his glittering yet frail habitation, he will find himself helpless and exposed. I believe I would not like that. But even should one maintain such possessions throughout life, what satisifaction will they afford him in the hour of death? So I disqualify that and conclude that there is no abiding refuge in wealth and worldly success.

How about peace i n health? Health has its place, and it should not be thrown away or despised, but it belongs to the body which is destined for dissolution, and is therefore perishable. Even should health be maintained for 100 years, the time will come when physical energies will decline and decay and weakmess will overtake them. Hence the conclusion that there is no abiding peace and refuge in health.

Oh my God. Now where can I find peace? I badly need peace.

Will I then find peace and refuge in those whom I dearly love?Those whom one loves have their place in life. They afford him means of practicing unselfishness and there by arriving at truth.One should cherish them with loving care, and consider their needs before his own. But times will come when they will be separated from him and he will be left alone. There is thus no abiding peace and refuge in loved ones.

Will I find peace in the scripture? That is a definate NO. I agree that the scripture fills an important place. As a guide,it is good. But it cannot be a refuge, for one may know the scripture by heart, and yet be in sore conflict and unrest. The theories of men are subject to successive changes, and no limit can be set to the variety of textual interpretations. Hence there is no abiding refuge and peace in the scripture.

Will I then find peace and refuge in this teacher or that? THE TEACHER HAS HIS PLACE, AND AS AN INSTRUCTOR HE RENDERS GOOD SERVICE. But teachers are numerous, and their differences are many. Though one may regard his particular teacher as in possession of truth, that teacher will one day be taken from him. Thus no abiding peace and refuge in teacher.

Then how about refuge in solitude? I have always used solitude as a means of getting some refuge from others and some peace. Solitude is good and necessary in its place,but he who courts solitude as a lasting refuge will be like one perishing of thirst in a waterless desert. He will escape men and turmoil of the city, but he will not escape himself and the unrest of the heart. Hence there is no abiding rest in solitude.

If then, the truth and peace seeker cannot find peace and refuge in pleasure, in health, in loved ones, in the scripture, in the teacher, or in solitude, where shall he turn to find that sansctuary that will afford abiding peace?

I have resolved from today onwards to take refuge in righteousness. I will fly to the sanctuary of a purified heart. Let even you enter the pathway of a blameless, stainless life, and walk in meekly and patiently until it brings you to the eternal temple of truth in your own heart. He who has taken refuge in truth, even in the habitation of a wise understanding and a loving and steadfast heart, is the same whther in pleasure or pain, wealth or poverty, success or failure, health or sickness, with friends or without, in solitude or noisy haunts, and he is independent of bibles and teachers, for the spirit of truth instructs him. He percieves without fear or sorrow the change and decay which are in all living things. I HAVE FOUND PEACE, I HAVE ENTERED THE ABIDING SANCTUARY, I know the light that never go out.

My Blog And How To Promote It - Blog Marketing

As I continue focusing on the future of my blog, the whole night I spent it thinking about how I will promote it so as to get more people to read it.

While doing this, I knew that there are many blog publishers who would also like to get there hand s on such wonderful information on how to promote their blogs.

Being an internet marketer, I already have some knowledge about blog marketing.I know and I have read it a thousand time that targeted traffic=sales. Also increased targeted traffic = increased sales. So some of the ideas that I came up with on how to promote my blog are as listed below.

1) One of the major sources of promotion that I plan to capitalise on is the web2.0 trend. I realise that web 2.0 is the hot thing now and it has already started bringing lots of traffic to my blog. web 2.0 involves social bookmarking. I will ping all my posts using www.pingomatic.com or http://www.pingoat.com

Then I will make sure that I digg and reddit each post I make.

I will submit my blog and posts to over 50 social bookmarking sites as listed on the socialise it button on the left of this pages. I will also include such buttons on each post so that my visitors can share my posts which they find of interest.

I will ( I have already done this) use http://www.onlywire.com to submit most of my posts to bookmarking sites like del.icio.us


2) Use of PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising, such as Google Adwords. PPC (with well written ads) will drive targeted traffic to my blog instantly. The only drawback is that it will cost me money. How ever, I was checking on my hard drive and came upone an adwords marketing book that I had baught in 2007. It is updated occassionally and so I went to the website where I baught it and updated it immediately to the latest trends. It is the best informtion on pay per click marketing that I have ever baught.The traffic from this technique can be highly targeted and can arrive to my blog in as little as 15 minutes from the time I finish submitting my ad.
I would not recommend you to try Adwords campaign without any basic knowledge. If you make mistakes (such as choosing the wrong keywords, the wrong countries or the wrong ads) Google will penalize you by rising your clicks cost, and you will end up loosing alot of money.
But it is the most effective and quick method out there that you should not neglect by any means.But don't even consider to try a campaign before reading an expert Google guide.

3) The second strategy to draw traffic to my blog will be article writing and submission.Articles are shorter, more concentrated works as compared to books. They are printed in journals, magazines, published on article sites such as this one and announcement lists and other serial or periodical works Articles deal with a specific topic or perhaps a specific part of a topic.

I will Write many articles.As many as 10-20 in one sitting. That might seem like a lot. But if this is the most profitable work I do online, why not write as much as MY mind can hold out?

I will Write articles that are direct and to the point. With articles, you can just write about any beneficial topic that

I will Write with a friendly tone.When you start your article with a friendly tone, the readers will be more compelled to read through and click to your website for more information.
They will find it easy to relate with you and your message.You do not need to be stiff and have perfect grammar to be read, in fact, I think that just about the opposite is true.


4) The third effective strategy to draw traffic to your website is to use Search Engine Optimization (SEO).SEO requires more work, and some patience. It won't drive traffic to my blo instantly but it has a great advantage over PPC - once my blog is optimized and reach a top place in organic search engines, I will receive tons of traffic for free! Organic search results (Visitors from search engines) are considered by most people as more reliable than sponsored resultS.


A well optimized blog would take several months to reach a top position (depends on the keywords used and the level of competition).

Gaining a high rank is done by analyzing the competition's blog SEO properties for your main keywords, and trying to copy their methods and do a little bit better to out rank them. SEO for a blog is different from that of a site.

Onpage factors for a blog include:

Title - The title of the post should include your main keywords and be as short as possible to give them more weight.

First sentence of your blog post- You should include your main keywords within your first sentance of the post. You should also bold and underline these keywords.

Keyword Density - You should include your main keywords as often as possible without making the content seem spammy or nonsensible.

Using Labels- You should use labels for each post you make on yur blog.Labels are basical the keywords you want associated with your post.


Writing a good description for your blog.This will appear at the top of the blog and as the description in the search engine results for your main page. It should be compelling so visitors click on the link to your site, as well as including your main keywords for optimization purposes.

While onpage optimization is still something you should do, it's NOT what will get you high search engine rankings. It's the offpage optimization factors that will.

Offpage Optimisation will form the bigest percentage of my blog's SEO campaign. This can basically be summed up in one word- LINKS.

Google, and most other search engines, place great emphasis on both the quality and quantity of inward links to your site. You want to get as many links as possible, but you should place more emphasis on getting quality links from sites and blogs similar in subject to your own, and from pages with high page rank (PR).

Offpage parameters include:- Which websites link to you- The number of websites linking to you- The PR of the website linking to you- The page title of the website linking to you- The anchor text used in the link linking to you- The number and type of links linking to the website that's linking to you- The number of outbound links on the website that is linking to you- The total number of links on the website that is linking to you- Whether or not the websites linking to you are deemed by Google as an authority website.

To get links, I hope to request for links from blog owners, make relevant posts on similar blogs, write articles and submit to article directories, submit my blog to blog directories, use trackbacks and in some cases uses software to help me in this process of getting links. I do not intend to use spamming software, but legitimate software.

Where can a will be kept?

A will should be kept in a place where it cannot be destroyed by the fire, water or vermin and with a trusted person. This can be a religious leader, clan leader, community leader or a lawyer.
The contents of the will should not be divulged to anyone before the death of the will maker since this can cause strife and disharmony in the family.
It is important for the will maker to inform some family members of the existence of a will and where it is kept, otherwise, if a will’s existence and where abouts are unknown, the will maker” wishes cannot be respected.

Can a will be revoked or altered?
In situations where the will maker acquires more property or changes their mind after a will has been made they can alter the will by use of an instrument called a codicil”.

• The name and address of the person making the will
• Name of executors
• Name of the heir
• Name of guardian of young children
• Name of persons given specific gifts in this will(money, land or any other gift) and in what proportions
• Property given
• Name of persons given a share in the property
• Signature or thumb print of the will maker
• Signatures or thumb prints of two witnesses, their names, addresses and occupations.

Since you started understanding your environment, it is the same time you knew that a will existed. It is the time when most of the young ones start picking interest in the riches of their parents with the assumption that when they die, the wealth will be passed on to them through a will. And as you grow and have kids, you also get advised about making a will. Some times you wonder what a will is, why it should be made, what it looks like and who should make it?

The word “will”, which I am referring to here, in this sense is different from the English auxiliary verb “will” which has the mandatory sense of “shall” or “must”. This verb means a wish, desire, pleasure or choice.

However, the “Will” referred to in this post can be defined as an instrument by which a person makes a disposition of his real and personal property to take effect after his/her death. A will, by its own nature is ambulatory in that it can be changed by the maker during his life time and revocable, meaning that it can be challenged.

When you make a will, it takes effect after you the will maker dies. However, for where a will is involved, the death of the one who made the will must be established as there may be opportunistic causes. The bible also says about this fact in Hebrews 9:16-17.

According to the information I have gathered across the world, many societies stipulate that anyone who has reached the age of 18 years and is of sound mind can write a will ( is capable of writing a will). Note that, the above statement does not discriminate of sex, race or educational background. An illiterate person of sound mind and above 18years may make a will with the help of a literate but trusted person such as a will lawyers or will artorney. Like wise, a married woman may, by will dispose of any property which she could alienate by her own act during her life. A person who is deaf, dumb or blind may also make a Will if they are able to understand what they are doing.

No person can make a will while they are in a state of drunkenness, illness, or from any cause that they do not know what they are doing. What this means is that, one should know what they are doing while making a will. A person who is ordinarily insane can only make a will during an interval in which he or she is lucid.

A will that has been made by deceit, fraud or coercion is void or not legally valid. This implies that a person should never be forced coerced or deceived into making a will.


This brings us to what must be contained in a valid will?

A person making a will (testator) should use simple language to describe all his property in the will, the persons who are being given this property, specify the proportions, and the person who is to execute the will (Executor). If one has children, he or she may appoint a guardian for these children.

For a will to be valid, it should be written down on paper or any other appropriate material, dated and signed by the person making it. This must be in the presence of at least two or more witnesses who must attest or sign the will in each other’s presence after the testator has attested. In case of an illiterate testator, the will must be read to them and after they acknowledge, they affix their thumbs in the presence of the witnesses.

In some societies, they allow their armed forces in war fare to make privileged wills, where by they can make the will either in writing or by word of mouth and it needs not be signed by the privileged will maker or witnesses.

It is of utmost importance if you want your will not to be challenged, that you provide for every body who is dependent on you such as the wife, children (legitimate, illegitimate and adopted) and dependant relatives (a parent,brother,sister,grand parent or grandchild who, on the date of the death of the maker was wholly or substantially dependent on the deceased for provision of the ordinary necessities.)

Barack Obama headed towards a solid victory over Hillary Clinton in the Mississippi primary on tuesday 11th/March/2008, re-asserting his status as the frontrunner in the final stretch of the campaign for the Democratic nomination.


However, the vote in Mississippi drew attention to the deepening racial polarisation within the Democratic party, only hours after a row over comments made by Geraldine Ferraro, a Clinton supporter.


As in other southern states, Obama owed his finish last night to strong support from African-American voters. Mississippi has the largest African-American electorate of any of the southern states, and they voted for Obama in overwhelming numbers.

Whites largely shunned Barack Obama in Mississippi's Democratic presidential primary on Tuesday as the Deep South showed once again its reluctance to embrace him across racial lines.
While 92 percent of blacks lined up behind the Illinois senator, 70 percent of whites supported Hillary Rodham Clinton, according to an exit poll of voters conducted for The Associated Press and the television networks.

In my view and I believe what Obama's advisers capitalised on, that division was all Obama needed because voters were split about evenly between the two races.

While Obama has typically received lopsided numbers of black votes and Clinton, a New York senator, generally has won among whites, Tuesday's racial polarization was stark.
While Obama has at times shown signs of eroding Clinton's support among whites, that was not the case Tuesday or last week in Ohio and Texas, contests that helped her regain some momentum in the race.


However, it is that extended pattern of black support that carried Obama to victory in earlier southern primary elections in South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia and Louisiana.

This racial dependance has led to rather conflicting statements from the clinton team. "If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position," Geraldine Ferraro, the Democratic vice-presidential candidate in 1984, told a California newspaper. "And if he was a woman he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept," Ferraro said.

The good news is that Geraldine Ferraro has resigned as I write this over these comments she made.

So if you are a barak obama supporter, such words cannot fail to leave you pondering whether in reality this could be the case if obama clinched the democratic nomination and was to face John Mcain, a white.

Will the Southern white population vote for Obama in the general election? My interpretations of obama's victory in missisipi is that, In a close election it would be crucial that Obama is competitive in the Southern states.

The good news is that, in a general election where obama faces The republican nominie, Senator barak obama , in my ipinion will stand the best chance to clinch the US presidency because of very sharp differences between the to which make Obama more appealing to the electorate. But obama would need to garner the support of the white democrates who have not supported him in the primaries.
